titleOfInvention | Heat fixing method |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Correction) [Purpose] To provide a heat fixing method capable of obtaining a good image with a good balance of fixing ratio and offset property and without image defects. A recording material carrying a toner image is passed between a rotating fixing roller having a silicon oil coating film formed on its surface and a pressure-bonding roller in pressure contact with the fixing roller, and the toner image is transferred onto the recording material. In the heat fixing method of fixing to, the silicone oil is a fluorine-containing silicone oil having a structural unit represented by the following general formula [I], and the toner contains a binder resin, a colorant and a low molecular weight polyolefin. The heat fixing method is characterized in that the low molecular weight polyolefin present on the toner surface is 20 to 60% by number. Embedded image [In the formula, X represents a saturated hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group, R f represents a fluoroalkyl group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, and n represents an integer of 1 to 4. ] |
