Provided is a novel method for producing polysilsesquioxane. [Structure] Vinyltrialkoxysilane or organotrialkoxysilane having a vinyl group as a substituent, And other organotrialkoxysilanes are mixed and reacted with water in the presence of an acid catalyst to hydrolyze and polycondensate the trialkoxysilanes, and then the resulting polymer is not isolated to obtain a silylating agent. A method for producing a terminal silylated polysilsesquioxane, which comprises reacting with a silyl group of a terminal group of the polymer. [Effects] Polysilsesquioxane having a desired structure can be produced in good yield from trialkoxysilane in one-pot by hydrolysis / polycondensation and terminal silylation. |
