abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a polymer flocculant which gives a sludge cake having a low water content with a small addition amount. [Structure] A polymer flocculant containing a cationic polymer and an amphoteric polymer and having a 0.1 wt% concentration aqueous solution pH of 4.0 or less. [Effect] It has excellent dewatering performance, and exerts a remarkable effect particularly on sludge having a high organic content and sludge having a high degree of spoilage, which has been difficult to dehydrate in the past.
