abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] An object of the present invention is to provide a composite reverse osmosis membrane having both high desalination performance and water permeability even when operated under low operating pressure. The composite reverse osmosis membrane of the present invention comprises a thin film and a microporous support which supports the thin film, and the thin film essentially comprises (a) at least two primary or / and secondary amino groups. An amine component containing at least one selected from the group of monomeric amine compounds, and (b) a benzenehexacarboxylic acid halide or a benzenehexacarboxylic acid halide and at least two or more acid halide groups. The crosslinked polyamide obtained by interfacial polymerization of an acid halide component, which is a mixture with a monomeric acid halide compound, is obtained as a main component.
