abstract | (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a novel coating composition capable of forming a deep reddish-colored high-tone coating film and a method for forming a decorative coating film using the same. [Constitution] (1) A coating composition containing a vehicle and lanthanum boride. (2) A coating composition containing a vehicle, lanthanum boride and a bright pigment. (3) a base coating film forming step of applying a colored coating material having a brightness of N-2 or less in the Munsell display system on the base material surface, and a top coating forming step of applying the color coating material of (1) to the base coating surface. A method for forming a decorative coating film that is sequentially applied. (4) The brightness in the Munsell display system is N on the substrate surface. -2 A method for forming a design coating film, which comprises sequentially performing a base coating film forming step of applying the following color coating material and a top coating forming step of applying the color coating material of (2) above to the base coating surface. |
