(57) 【Abstract】 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an olefin polymer which is less likely to generate a fine powder polymer during polymerization and has excellent particle properties. SOLUTION: An organoaluminumoxy compound having a molar ratio of an alkyl group to an aluminum atom of 1.7 to 2.1 is used as a catalyst component for olefin polymerization. A catalyst for olefin polymerization comprising a fine particle carrier, a transition metal compound of Group IVB of the periodic table containing a ligand having a cyclopentadienyl skeleton, and an organoaluminum oxy compound, The organoaluminum oxy compound is the organoaluminum oxy compound. The olefin is polymerized in the presence of the olefin polymerization catalyst. |
