titleOfInvention | Process for producing optically active [4] (1,2) ferrocenophanes |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a method for producing optically active [4] (1,2) ferrocenophanes. [Structure] A racemic compound represented by the general formula (I) (I) is reacted with a carboxylic acid ester in the presence of esterase or lipase to give an optically active substance of either racemic ester. Then, the alcohols of the antipodes are left as they are, and they are separated to obtain the respective optically active substances. Further, the racemic ester is asymmetrically hydrolyzed in the presence of esterase or lipase to give an optically active substance in either one of the racemic forms as an alcohol, and the enantiomer ester is left as it is. To obtain an optically active substance. |
