titleOfInvention Styrofoam waste material treatment method
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To reduce the volume of waste polystyrene foam and recycle it. [Structure] Waste polystyrene foam is dissolved in a solvent and then filtered, and the filtrate is separated by distillation to recover the solvent and the dissolved polystyrene as a recycled resin. [Effect] It is possible to instantly reduce the volume by dissolving the styrofoam waste material in a solvent such as dipentene. Since the solvent and the styrene resin are fractionally distilled, the solvent can be reused and the separated styrene resin can be regenerated. Since fine particles of dust and dust are removed in the filter, a high quality recycled resin can be obtained.
