(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] To provide a foamable magnet that is rich in cushioning properties, lightweight, and has properties as a cushioning material and magnetic force. [Structure] A raw material is made into a sol by mixing a powdery magnetic material, an aqueous binder comprising an organic polymer and a thermally decomposable organic foaming agent. This sol-form raw material is sent out in a thin film form from the slit 3 of the molding die 2 and is received by the continuously rotating, continuous conveyor 4. Further, the foamed sheet 7 is conveyed to the heating furnace 6 and the solvent is removed and dried at the same time as the foaming to form the foamed sheet 7. The foamed sheet 7 is peeled from the conveyor and then magnetized to complete the foamed magnet 8. |
