abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide an active energy ray polymerization initiator and a method for producing a polymer having a silyl group, particularly a low molecular weight polymer. [Structure] An active energy ray polymerization initiator composed of a compound represented by the formula (1) and a compound represented by the formula (2) obtained by active energy ray polymerization of a radical-polymerizable monomer in the presence of the above compound. A method for producing a polymer having a silyl group. [Chemical 1] [Chemical 2] [Effect] By using the polymerization initiator of the present invention, it has a low molecular weight, a high introduction rate of silyl groups in the polymer, excellent curability, no discoloration or bad odor, and excellent light resistance, and can be used for coatings and coatings. When used as a raw material resin for a coating agent or the like, a polymer having a high solid content and a low viscosity and capable of providing a coating material and a coating agent having good workability can be efficiently produced in a high yield. |
