titleOfInvention | Method and apparatus for providing an interactive distributed finite state program generator |
abstract | (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Objective] To provide a user guide method and apparatus through project requirements in designing, developing, and testing finite state driven data processing programs. Configuration Users are provided with decision support according to internal and external factors, including configuration, environment, protocols and distributed partner programs. If multiple routes are available to the user, the present invention informs the user of the most preferred choice. The user is allowed to change the configuration and the user is advised of the configuration change required to produce this effect. The source code generated by this tool is syntactically correct in design and tested and works with the appropriate distributed partner programs in its own environment. The user is instructed during the session not only on the protocol and environment, but also on the program requirements to produce the desired effect. The present invention generates individualization of source code by a simple table update, and achieves a new interface with minimum effort. |
