abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To realize power saving when the lens is stopped in a lens control device using an actuator such as a stepping motor. A lens control device that is optimal for conditions that require high position accuracy, good speed response and drive response, and low power consumption, such as camera lens control So, the feature is, A lens system having a lens group and a diaphragm, an actuator for moving the lens group, a driving means for driving the actuator, a lens position detecting means for detecting the position of the lens group, and a state of the diaphragm. And a control means for controlling the driving means based on the information obtained from the output of the aperture detection means to control the stop position of the lens group.
