(57) [Summary] [Structure] Brevibacterium flavum MJ-233 A DNA fragment containing a gene encoding diaminopimelate decarboxylase obtained from the chromosomal DNA of Escherichia coli, a recombinant plasmid carrying the DNA fragment, and a coryneform bacterium transformed with the recombinant plasmid. [Effect] By using a coryneform bacterium transformed with a recombinant plasmid into which the DNA fragment has been introduced, L-lysine can be produced more efficiently than before. |
