Method for producing hydrophilic filter material |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Structure] In an aggregate of hydrophobic fibers, 40-80% by weight of glucosyloxyethyl methacrylate is added to the fibers. A method for producing a hydrophilic filter material, which comprises forming a contained nonionic copolymer film and then subjecting it to a humidification treatment. [Effect] A fiber assembly of hydrophobic fibers having a nonionic copolymer film containing glucosyloxyethyl methacrylate as in the present invention exhibits good hydrophilicity even in a dry atmosphere, and even in a wet state. Since it does not swell, it is preferable to handle, and it is a suitable material for hydrophilic filters. |
