(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a compound effective for improving the stability of an organic material against thermal deterioration and thermal oxidative deterioration. [Structure] Formula (I) The organophosphorus compound represented by is effective for stabilizing the organic material. In the formula, R 1 and R 2 represent alkyl, R 3 represents hydrogen or alkyl, X and Y represent hydrogen or methyl, or are bonded to each other to form a direct bond or —CH. (R 4 )-forms, where R 4 is hydrogen or alkyl. This compound can be prepared by reacting the corresponding mono- or bisphenol compound with phosphorus trihalide and then with piperazine. [Effect] This organophosphorus compound has excellent performance as a stabilizer for various organic materials including thermoplastic resins. |
