titleOfInvention Process for producing alkaline earth metal salt of (6R) -N (10) -formyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrofolic acid
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] The present invention is dissolved in water or an aqueous buffer solution, (6RS) -N (10) -formyl-5,6 of formula II To the ammonium salt or alkali metal salt of 7,8-tetrahydrofolic acid, a salt of an alkaline earth metal in the form of a solid or an aqueous solution is added, preferably in an inert atmosphere, and the resulting mixture is crystallized. And separating the resulting solid is a process for the preparation of an alkaline earth metal salt of (6R) -N (10) -formyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrofolic acid of formula I. [Effect] A specific isomer can be selectively obtained from a mixture of diastereoisomers, and the obtained compound has high diastereoisomer purity.
