Fibrous reinforcement and method for producing the same |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Composition] Urethane foams are reinforced by preforms made from fibrous materials that are non-planarized by random or semi-random orientation. The fibrous reinforced frame material is almost completely enclosed or embedded in the cured foam body. Also, the skeleton material comprises at least 10% of the maximum or average thickness of the final uncompressed product. [Effect] It is especially useful for furniture, beds, and other objects that use reinforced flexible urethane foam. |
