titleOfInvention Microcapsule, its manufacturing method and carbonless copying system
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Polyamide microcapsules used for carbonless copying paper improve the impermeability of the capsule shell and reduce the yellowing of copying paper. [Structure] An isocyanate emulsion is reacted with a polyamide capsule to reduce yellowing of microcapsules and permeability of microcapsules when used for carbonless copying paper. This isocyanate reacts with the polyamide shell to fill the shell discontinuities and improve the impermeability. This isocyanate also reacts with the unreacted amine of the capsule slurry, reducing the presence of unreacted amine which causes yellowing.
