abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] In a display substrate used for a liquid crystal display or the like, a plurality of colored layers are formed on a base. The colored layer is made of a photo-curable resin having stripes and to which a pigment is added, and colored layers of different colors are arranged in proximity. In the first invention, the colored layer has a stripe-shaped slit along the longitudinal direction. In the following invention, the colored layer of at least one color is configured to have a substantially kamaboko shape. Further, in the following invention, the colored film supported by the holding sheet was pressure-transferred by a roller having unevenness along the stripe direction and patterned to form a colored layer. [Effect] Since the edge of the colored layer is less likely to lose its shape or peel off, It is possible to provide a substrate with a color filter that is stable at a predetermined color density.
