titleOfInvention Deodorizing element and deodorizing device using the deodorizing element
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A honeycomb structure having conductive ceramics as a main component and a large number of through holes 1a, the inner surface of which is coated with an adsorbent and an oxidation catalyst for adsorbing and oxidatively decomposing odors. The deodorizing element 1 is provided with a pair of electrodes 2 made of a metal film on the outer surface thereof, and the deodorizing device having the deodorizing element 1 installed in the air passage 9. [Effect] A deodorizing element and deodorizing device having a permanently high deodorizing effect, structurally simple, and low cost can be obtained.
