Peelable seal and container with the seal |
abstract |
(57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide a container having a peelable seal capable of withstanding external stress due to the pressure applied to the container or individual chambers of the container. [Structure] A container capable of containing a mixture component in a chamber separated by a peelable seal composed of a multilayer film. The multilayer film comprises at least one layer of RF responsive material and an inner layer of non-RF responsive material. When both layers are exposed to RF energy, the RF reactive layer heats the inner layers to form a bond in the form of a peelable seal between the inner layers. The peelable seal can withstand external stress applied to the container such as dropping the container. The seal can be selectively released to mix the components contained therein. |
