abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To provide a high-strength heat storage body which does not exude oily substances and a method for producing the same. [Structure] The heat storage body is an oily substance having heat storage properties, a polymer support material carrying the oily substance, and the oily substance, A heat storage material containing a crystalline polyolefin having a melting point higher than that of a polymer-supporting material and forming a network structure, wherein the surface layer of the heat storage material has a three-dimensional network structure of crystalline polyolefin. The production method is such that an oily substance, a polymer carrier, and a bulk composition obtained by melting and kneading a polymer composition containing a crystalline polyolefin, at the time of molding, a temperature not higher than the freezing point of the crystalline polyolefin. After kneading and molding while remelting the surface at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the crystalline polyolefin, it is solidified by cooling.
