abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a device for performing transurethral prostatectomy using a laser. [Structure] The light emitting chip is fixed to the optical fiber 41. It is fixed by 40. The fiber 41 is inserted into the urethra until the light emitting window opening 49 is located on the prostate to be excised. When the laser beam is radiated through the fiber 41, The laser beam reflects off the reflective surface 45 and reaches the prostate through the opening 49 to cauterize the prostate.
