titleOfInvention Seat cushion pad structure
abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To improve sitting comfort without compromising the flatness of the seating surface. In an elastic seat cushion pad supported on a cushion frame having rigidity, a seating surface is configured as a substantially flat surface, and a lower surface of a rear seat portion located rearward corresponds to a position right below a seat bone portion. A top portion 10 having a large wall thickness and abutting on the support surface of the cushion frame is formed. Front and rear and left and right sides of the top portion 10 are valley portions that float up from the support surface of the cushion frame due to the gradual decrease of the wall thickness from the top portion 10. 11, the lower surface of the front seat portion located at the front side has a ridge portion 14 which is thick in a portion corresponding to the position just below the thigh and is in contact with the support surface of the cushion frame. The left and right sides of the ridge portion 14 are formed with valley portions 15 that are lifted from the support surface of the cushion frame due to the gradual reduction of the wall thickness from the ridge portion 14.
