abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Transfer that can dry the transfer paper from which toner has been removed by supplying a prescribed treatment liquid to remove the toner from the transfer paper without damaging the paper fibers without causing waviness. A paper recycling apparatus is provided. [Configuration] A drying unit for supplying a predetermined treatment liquid to destabilize the adhesion state of the toner to the transfer paper, and for removing the treatment liquid from the transfer paper peeled by the toner adhering to the peeling roller side. A pair of belts 438 and 424 are provided that are driven so as to run side by side with their surfaces holding the transfer paper across a predetermined area. The belt 438 located above in the holding region is made of a breathable material, and the belt 424 located below is made of, for example, a metal material having good thermal conductivity. Then, a planar heater 425 is provided for heating the transfer paper conveyed in the holding area.
