abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A disilane compound represented by the general formula: R 1 n Si 2 (OR 2 ) 6-n is added to a polyorgano compound in the presence of a metal hydrocarbinolate represented by the general formula MOR 3. The reaction is allowed to react for a time sufficient to form silane and then of the general formula: R 4 m Si A method for producing a polyorganosilane, which comprises reacting an organohalosilane represented by X 4-m . [Effect] By arbitrarily selecting R 1 and R 4 , a polyorganosilane having an arbitrary organic group can be produced by a series of reactions in a single container. |
