titleOfInvention | Pigment composite polymer particles and method for producing the same |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Objective] Some pigments have poor dispersibility in an aqueous system, and when pigment-containing polymer particles are prepared, dispersion stability is poor and aggregation easily occurs, resulting in poor controllability of particle size. To solve. Further, it solves the problem that some pigments have poor lipophilicity and agglomerate during polymerization to make it difficult to incorporate them into polymer particles, and thus it is impossible to produce pigment-containing polymer particles. A pigment composite polymer obtained by dispersing a pigment in an aqueous phase in the presence of a surfactant and subjecting a monomer component containing at least one hydrophobic monomer to an aqueous precipitation polymerization with a water-soluble radical polymerization initiator. In the particles, a pigment composite polymer particle characterized in that the pigment is surface-treated with a surface modifier. |
