abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Polyaniline is preferentially added by the ferric salt whose doping rate, that is, conductivity is remarkably rapid, and whose organic acid anion contained in the oxidant solution is the counter ion. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method capable of obtaining a conductive polyaniline which can be doped and thus has excellent stability. Further, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor using such a method. [Structure] The method for producing a conductive organic polymer according to the present invention comprises: General formula (I) The organic polymer composition obtained by dissolving an organic polymer having an imino-p-phenylene structural unit represented by the following as a main repeating unit in an organic solvent is applied on a substrate and dried, and then an organic acid anion is added thereto. It is characterized in that the solution is subjected to an oxidation treatment with a solution in which a ferric salt as an ion is dissolved. The method for producing a solid electrolytic capacitor according to the present invention is characterized in that a dielectric oxide film is formed on a film-forming metal, and a conductive polyaniline film is formed as a solid electrolyte on the dielectric oxide film by the above method.
