(57) [Summary] [Structure] 250 parts by weight of 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 418 parts by weight of castor oil and 4,4 '. A polyurethane elastomer having a shape memory capacity, which is obtained by reacting 221 parts by weight of an ethylene oxide adduct of methylenebisphenol. [Effect] This elastomer can be deformed into any shape at the glass transition temperature or higher, and when the temperature is lowered below the glass transition temperature while the shape is deformed, the deformed shape is completely maintained and the glass is re-formed. When the temperature rises above the transition temperature, it quickly recovers to its original shape. |
