(57) [Summary] [Structure] The 149th A of the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 A cDNA containing a nucleotide sequence having homology with the nucleotide sequence from the 1 to the 1171st C. Encodes the α2,8 sialyltransferase. [Effect] Pure α2,8 sialyltransferase can be industrially produced in large quantities and is useful for preparation of biochemical reagents and the like. In addition, simple and highly sensitive detection of tumor antigens is expected by the Northern blotting method using the cDNA of the present invention. |
