abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a method for producing hydrogen, which is clean energy, at high speed and with high efficiency. A method for producing hydrogen in a hydrogen fermentation step 11 by a microorganism using an organic waste as a substrate, wherein the microorganism of the intestinal tract system of ant is anaerobically cultivated 7 in the presence of at least Cx cellulase 1 and 5 in the presence of Cx cellulase. 6 is used, and it is preferable that the hydrogen fermentation step is performed under reduced pressure, and a gas separation step is additionally provided to reduce the hydrogen partial pressure.
