Antiviral antibiotic BU-4628V and method for producing the same |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Purpose] A novel microorganism Streptomyces ptomies) sp. AA3891 (ATCC55 Providing a novel antiviral antibiotic BU-4628V produced by culturing 286). [Structure] The antiviral antibiotic BU-4628V is Streptomyces sp. Sp. In a medium containing assimilable carbon source and nitrogen source. It is produced by aerobically culturing AA3891. [Effect] BU-4628V is a gram-positive bacterium and HI. It showed a strong inhibitory effect on the proliferation of V and HSV viruses, and was suggested to be useful for the treatment of Gram-positive bacterial infections and viral infections. |
