abstract |
(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To recover the acid component (terephthalic acid ester) from the alkaline waste liquid generated when the weight reduction treatment of polyester fiber is performed with an alkaline solution. [Structure] Terrephthalic acid obtained by acidifying an alkaline waste liquid with mineral acid was reacted with ethylene glycol in the presence of alkali carbonate to synthesize bishydroxyethyl terephthalate, and then transesterified with methanol. Obtain dimethyl terephthalate and recover it. |
