Process for producing optically active endo-bicyclo [2.2.1 heptan-2-ol |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Objective] Optically active endo-bicyclo [2.2.1] heptane-in a high isolation yield using an inexpensive and safe reagent. 2-ol is produced. [Structure] Optically active exo-bicyclo [2.2.1] It is characterized in that heptan-2-ol is oxidized with a sulfonium salt-based oxidant or the like to give optically active bicyclo [2.2.1] heptan-2-one, and further reduced with hydride with diisobutylaluminum hydride or the like. The method for producing optically active endo-bicyclo [2.2.1] heptan-2-ol. |
