abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide a timing adjustment circuit capable of creating an edge with free timing. A selection signal generation circuit (decoder 91) generates selection signals s0, ..., Sn before an input signal p0 is input, and selection gate circuits generate p0 and s0, p1 and s1 ,. ., Pn and sn respectively have n selection gates (AND gates 940 to 947, OR gate 95), and any one of these selection gates outputs p0 ,. The signal holding circuit (flip-flop 92) outputs the selection signals s0, ..., Sn to p0 ,. n active edges are held until they pass through each selection gate, and the delay signal holding circuit (latches 960 to 967) holds the active edge to each selection gate, even if the selection signal changes. The output state of each select gate is held until the input to the select gate becomes inactive.
