titleOfInvention | Low glass transition temperature copolyester carbonate |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a copolyestercarbonate having a low glass transition temperature (Tg). Composition: Copolyestercarbonate is synthesized using bisphenol A, dicarboxylic acid and trisphenol. The copolyestercarbonate has a reduced glass transition temperature that exhibits non-Newtonian melt flow behavior. The branched copolymer was obtained by interfacial phosgenation. One of the compositions according to the invention exhibits a Tg of about 127 ° C. and a melt flow index twice that of a branched polycarbonate of comparable molecular weight or intrinsic viscosity. |
