abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] A compound-eye imaging device that produces a natural image on a display device and generates information that can reduce eye stress. Configuration: A means for adjusting the vergence angle of the video cameras A and B is provided, and the vergence angle adjusted by this means is detected. The detected convergence angle information is advanced from the image information from the video cameras A and B and output. In the display device (not shown), the vergence angle of the display section can be adjusted by the advanced vergence angle information without mechanical delay with respect to the image information, so that a natural image can be obtained.
