A sensor 1 for detecting and outputting one-dimensional time-series data from an object whose data is to be detected, and a signal processing means 2 for producing a plurality (m) -dimensional time-series data having a time delay τ from the output. And a correlation dimension calculation means 3 for integrating the Heaviside function from the m-dimensional time series data. And the calculation means 3 includes an adder 3 for performing vector calculation. 1 and data output means 32 for reading the corresponding reference data from the reference data stored in advance as corresponding to the vector calculation output to calculate the heaviside function, and the output to perform the integration of the heaviside function. It has a configuration of a dedicated computer having an integrator 33.
