titleOfInvention | Liquid crystal display device and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Construction] A nonlinear resistance element 14 composed of a first electrode 2, a nonlinear resistance layer 3 and a second electrode 4 is formed on a first substrate 1, and a black matrix is formed on a second substrate 6. In the liquid crystal display device for forming the liquid crystal display device 7, a liquid crystal in which an opening 13 and a transparent protrusion 15 are formed on the black matrix formed on the second substrate, and the nonlinear resistance element is irradiated with light through the opening. Display device and manufacturing method thereof. [Effect] The light irradiation effect suppresses the asymmetry of the current-voltage characteristics, reduces the direct current voltage application to the liquid crystal, and prevents the flicker phenomenon and the image sticking phenomenon which is an afterimage phenomenon. Further, it is possible to provide a liquid crystal display device having a high contrast and good display quality by preventing light leakage from the opening due to the transparent protrusion. |
