titleOfInvention Purification method of automobile exhaust gas
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A method for purifying exhaust gas, which comprises contacting exhaust gas discharged from a four-cycle gasoline engine with a catalyst disposed in a flow path of the exhaust gas, A method for purifying exhaust gas, characterized in that a part of the air-fuel mixture sucked into the exhaust gas is supplied to the flow path of the exhaust gas without being intentionally burned. [Effect] It is possible to supply HC as a NOx reducing agent to the purifying catalyst disposed in the middle of the exhaust gas flow path without installing a special fuel supply device unlike the conventional method. This can improve the NOx purification performance of the exhaust gas.
