abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide pigment composite polymer particles containing fine pigment particles, which have excellent spectral characteristics, light resistance and fading resistance, and provide electrophotographic toner and immunological diagnosis. A reagent carrier is provided. A pigment composite polymer obtained by dispersing a pigment in an aqueous phase in the presence of a surfactant and subjecting a monomer component containing at least one hydrophobic monomer to an aqueous precipitation polymerization with a water-soluble radical polymerization initiator. In the particles, the pigment is at least 60 to 100% by weight of hydrophobic monomer units and 0 to 40% of water-soluble monomer units. Pigment composite polymer particles, characterized in that they are surface-treated with a polymer of weight%. |
