R 2 is a monovalent reactive organic group. X is an alkoxy group or a hydroxyl group. b is 0-2, c is an integer of 1-3. However, 1 ≦ b + c ≦ 3. And a step of reacting with an organosilane represented by the formula (4). A method for producing an organopolysiloxane having a Q unit and containing a reactive organic group. [Effect] An organopolysiloxane having a Q unit and containing a reactive organic group can be easily produced.
