abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] (A) (a) An alkyl silicate having a SiO 2 unit (Q unit) and / or a partial hydrolyzate thereof, and (b) (R 1 ) a SiO (4-a) / 2 (wherein R 1 is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group, a is an integer of 1 to 3) and an organosiloxane containing a unit. (c) acidic catalyst and (d) reacting in the presence of water, (B) neutralizing the acidic catalyst, and (C) the reaction mixture neutralized in step (B) (e) (R 1 ) b (R 2 ) c SiX (4-bc) (wherein R 1 As above. R 2 is a monovalent reactive organic group. X is an alkoxy group or a hydroxyl group. b is 0-2, c is an integer of 1-3. However, 1 ≦ b + c ≦ 3.
