abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] An object of the present invention is to obtain an asphalt composition and a pavement material which are excellent in low-temperature flexibility as a road pavement material in cold regions and have elasticity and abrasion resistance even at temperatures below freezing. [Structure] Asphalt is used as a main material, and 20% by weight of styrene / butadiene block polymerized rubber having a styrene content of 30 to 40% by weight and ethylene-vinyl acetate having a vinyl acetate content of 30 to 45% by weight as a thermoplastic rubber are added to the asphalt. An asphalt composition containing 10% by weight of a polymer resin, and a road pavement material containing the asphalt composition in an amount of 10% by weight based on 90% by weight of an aggregate. |
