abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a recording apparatus capable of obtaining a color image having desired glossiness and excellent color reproducibility in color image recording. [Structure] The intermediate sheet 11 is brought into close contact with the intermediate sheet holding member 1 by the adhesive force of the surface of the sheet holding member 1 and the holding force of the sheet holding members 6 and 7. An image is recorded on the dyeing layer 13, and then the recorded dyeing layer 13 and the image receptor 25 are recorded.
