abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Amino alcohol is produced by oxidative dehydrogenation of amino alcohol in the presence of hydroxide of alkali metal and / or hydroxide of alkaline earth metal, water and catalyst. In the method described above, by using a vanadium-containing copper catalyst as a catalyst, the initial reaction activity of the catalyst is high, the activity decrease during repeated use is low, there are few by-products, high yield, high selectivity, and economically. The aminocarboxylic acid salt is preferably prepared.
