(57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide an economical method for providing high-purity isocyanatoorganosilanes in high yield without the need to use highly toxic raw materials and without the formation of dangerous by-products. [Structure] A vertically arranged stainless steel hot tube reactor in which methyl N- (3-trimethoxysilylpropyl) carbamate was filled with a saddle type filler made of stainless steel at a rate of 1.2 g / min. Supply. The top of the reactor is a vaporizer, which is maintained at 380 ° C, while the rest of the reactor is maintained at 520 ° C. The pressure of the reactor is 400 mmHg. The product is collected at ambient temperature in an air-cooled flask connected to the lower end of the reactor. Vacuum is periodically applied to the air-cooled flask to cool below ambient temperature, thereby removing methanol from the crude product. Removal of methanol by this intermittent application of high vacuum suppresses recombination of isocyanatoorganosilane with by-products.
