titleOfInvention | Binder resin for electrophotographic toner and electrophotographic toner |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A polyester ester resin obtained by copolycondensation of a predetermined alcohol component and a predetermined acid component is dissolved in a ketone solvent, and a neutralizing agent is added to the polyester resin. Ionize the carboxyl groups, then add water, Polyester resin fine particles obtained by distilling off the ketone solvent to convert the phase to an aqueous system and then drying, a binder resin for an electrophotographic toner, which is dispersed in a vinyl polymer, and the binder resin and Electrophotographic toner comprising a colorant. [Effect] Even if the toner is used in a high temperature and high humidity environment, the chargeability is not impaired, and further, the problem that the charge controllable substance is detached when the toner is used and the stability of charge with time is not likely to occur. Therefore, printing with good image quality can be stably obtained over time. |
