abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] Nylon fiber that realizes a new texture and its manufacturing method. [Structure] The fiber surface has lateral stripe grooves, and the entire fiber has a shape in which irregularities are repeated in the fiber axis direction. Above all, it is preferable that the width of the groove is 0.01 to 100 μm and the interval between the grooves is 0.01 to 100 times the width of the groove, because good feeling can be realized. The surface-modified nylon fiber can be produced by treating nylon fiber, cotton containing nylon fiber, cloth or the like with wood-destroying basidiomycete or culture thereof. Among wood-destroying basidiomycetes, white-rotting basidiomycetes are preferable, and NK-1148 strain is more preferable.
