(57) [Abstract] [Objective] Gold decorations, especially high levels, in solvent-containing preparations containing water to decorate bakeable supports in which at least part of the organic solvent is replaced by water. To provide a new group of sulfur-containing gold compounds suitable for the production of bright gold decorations. [Structure] (i) General formula (A): A monogold (I) -dimercaptocarboxylic acid compound or a salt of compound (A) is dissolved in water in the presence of a base, and (ii) a mineral acid is added to the solution of step (i) at a pH value of 2 or less. And (iii) the product precipitated in step (ii) is separated. [Effect] A beautiful, firm, and highly glossy gold coating can be obtained. |
