(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a novel water-in-oil type antiperspirant composition which is transparent or substantially transparent, does not leave a white residue, and has a non-tacky touch. The antiperspirant composition comprises a polydimethylsiloxy group having the general formula: MD x D' y D " z M, an average of at least one long-chain alkyl (methyl) siloxy group, and an average of less. A long-chain hydrocarbon-modified polydiorganosiloxane polyoxyalkylene copolymer also containing one polyoxyalkylene group; a volatile liquid; a solubilizing agent; water; a refractive index adjusting agent; and an astringent salt.
